Postponement of SSAs GAM 2020

Postponement of SSAs General Annual meeting 2020 and other

Dear member of SSA! Dear friend of Sudan!
We have all been following the latest tragic events around the world due to the coronavirus (covid-19) pandemic. Due to the latest developments we have come to a decision to suspend or postpone all upcoming events, and all board meetings to be held digitally until further notice.

The annual meeting which is supposed to be held on the 19th of April will therefore be postponed preliminarily to the end of September 2020. We hope the pandemic is in a much better phase before that.

The annual report and action plan will be sent out by mail together with the invitation to the General Annual meeting when the day and local is fixed. The present board, accountant and election committee will continue to function until new elections have been made at the annual meeting. According to the statues an extra annual meeting can be held before that if 10 members or more demands it. We hope that you will continue to support the Swedish Sudanese Association by paying the membership fee for 2020.

We are grateful for all donations to any of our charity and education projects.

You can pay the membership fee and donations through Swish or Bankgiro and write down what the payment is for; Membership fee 2020 / Knalle School/ Solvatten etc.
